How do I become a panel member?

To become a panel member, click here to join. Completion of the form will take only a few short minutes and then you will receive an email requesting you to click on a link to confirm your registration. Your membership will then be complete and you will soon receive surveys.

Am I compensated for study participation?

Yes. Each time you complete a study, you earn MarketPoints™ that can, over time, be converted directly to cash. Survey compensation varies, but you will receive approximately 50-100 MarketPoints™ (worth $2.50-$5.00 USD) per completed survey. Compensation for the survey is stated at the beginning of each study.

Is there an age restriction to becoming a member of The African-American Voice?

Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age to join The African-American Voice.

How can I change or update my registration information?

After you login, you will be sent to your account administration page. From here, you will be able to update your basic and detailed profiling questions, as well as change your address, email address, password and display language.

What are my responsibilities as a member of The African-American Voice?

If you participate in a study, you will be responsible for thoughtfully completing the study in a way that reflects your opinion.

How often will I participate in studies?

Based on the information provided during the registration process, The African-American Voice will send you a study invitation whenever relevant studies are available. You may receive several e-mail requests per month to participate in online surveys. You will be able to quickly review the nature and requirements of a given study and decide in seconds whether to participate. You can participate in as many or as few monthly studies as you wish.

Why does The African-American Voice use MarketPoints™ instead of currencies?

Our research studies are conducted all over the world. As a result, we denominate our rewards exclusively in MarketPoints™, which have a value based on the US dollar. Each MarketPoint™ is equivalent to 5 U.S. cents. The minimum number of points needed to redeem for cash is 1000 MarketPoints™.

How often is my 'MarketPoints™' information updated?

Unless stated otherwise in the invite, MarketPoints™ are updated the same day as completing a survey. MarketPoints™ earned from surveys do not necessarily show up instantly in your account.

How do I redeem my MarketPoints™?

Once you have accumulated 1,000 MarketPoints™, you may redeem those points for a value equivalent to $50.00 USD. To redeem yourMarketPoints™, login to your account, select the “MarketPoints™” tab and click on “Redeem.” You will then be mailed a check to your physical address in your local currency. You should receive a check within 2-3 weeks if you live within North America and 4-6 weeks if you live outside of North America. If you have not received your check after this time, please contact us.

How can I receive more surveys?

The best way to be invited to participate in more surveys is to complete your detailed profiling questions in the 'User Information' area of your account. This profile enables us to better target you for future surveys. To get to the 'User Information' area within your account, login then select the 'Profiling Questions' link. As a bonus for completing this profile, you will instantly be awarded 50 MarketPoints™ for your time. Please ensure you keep your profile as current as possible to ensure you are better targeted for additional surveys.

To update your current basic profile please go to “My Account’ and go to ‘Personal Details’.

Please be aware, however, that the number of surveys each participant receives varies significantly from person to person. The number of surveys you will receive is directly related to the demographic our clients are looking for.

Can I earn money for referring others to The African-American Voice?

At this time we do not have a referral program set up, but we will be adding this in the near future. If you are interested in joining our network of recruiters, please keep returning to the site as it will be updated soon.
